BUSINESS BRIEFS
Pillows stay on Hawai'i flights

Advertiser Staff

American Airlines' decision to eliminate pillows on most of its domestic routes will not apply to flights to and from Hawai'i, the airline said.

The Fort Worth, Texas-based carrier said pillows will be removed from most flights beginning Tuesday in a cost-cutting move expected to save $370,000 a year.

Hawai'i will be exempt from the move, as well as U.S. coast-to-coast flights and international flights to Europe, Asia and South America, according to the airline.
