8 p.m., Kamehameha-O'ahu (13-3-1) vs. Iolani (12-0-4) Kamehameha beat Waimea, 3-1, in the other semifinal.
Iolani (12-0-4) outscored Kealakehe (15-4) of the Big Island Interscholastic Federation, 5-3, in penalty kicks after playing 100 minutes of regulation and overtime.
"It's an awesome feeling, to win in penalty kicks," said senior defender Micah Miyake, who made his kick, along with senior defender John William Chang, junior midfielder Raymond Machi, senior forward Milo Kalama and junior midfielder Zachary Napier.
"Penalty kicks is the most nerve-wracking," Miyake said. "Anything can happen. You can take a bad kick, or the goalkeeper could read you."
Kealakehe senior defender Kai Villarin, senior forward Tyler Arford and senior forward Joey Giubardo made their penalty kicks. The fifth shooter did not attempt a kick because Iolani, which shot first, had an insurmountable lead.
Kealakehe struck first in regulation, on a header by Giubardo off a corner kick by senior forward Hookela Sanborn 1 1/2 minutes before halftime.
Miyake scored on a penalty kick in the 51st minute, on a low shot into the left side of the goal. Napier was fouled in the box to set up the kick.
Kamehameha-Oahu 3, Waimea 1
Kamehameha-O'ahu advanced to its first championship match since 2002, and ended the run of Waimea.
Waimea (7-1) became the first Kaua'i Interscholastic Federation team ever to play in the semifinals after beating four-time defending state champion Mililani in the quarterfinals.
"One of our goals was to play four games in four days," Waimea coach Mark Kennett said. "We know we have nothing to be ashamed about. It's still a buzz we beat one of the great teams."
The Warriors (13-3-1) started out quickly, on a goal by sophomore midfielder Kekoa Osorio, who scored on a penalty kick in the 10th minute after junior Logan Sauer was taken down in the penalty box.
"I was kind of confident," Osorio said. "If you go confident it's most likely in your favor."
Kamehameha senior midfielder Jesse LeStronge scored in the 45th minute after a corner kick by Ikaika Pidot was cleared to the left side of the penalty box, and senior Dustin Engle shot the ball to the far post. Sauer, who was running to the far post, flicked it with his heel to LeStronge, who was behind him.
"I always play the back door and I always crash," LeStronge said. "You always have to be there."
Sauer scored in the 68th minute on a 12-yard shot with no one around, set up by a 30-yard curling pass from Engle from the left side of the field.
Menehune junior forward Chad Thompson scored on a penalty kick with two minutes left after he was taken down in the penalty box.
