Jennifer Lynn Shermeta, daughter of Michael Shermeta of Muskegon, Mich., and Christine Squires of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Todd Patrick Allen, son of Charles and Helene Allen of Honolulu, were married Oct. 16 in Hudsonville, Mich. The reception followed in Grand Rapids. The bride (1993 East Kentwood High, Michigan /1999 Grand Valley State University bachelor's, Michigan), is now Jennifer Lynn Allen. The groom (1991 Iolani School/University of Hawai'i ,1996 bachelor's and 1998 master's) is formerly of Honolulu. The couple lives in Jenison, Mich.

Jane-na Kaina'aluha DeMello, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Derrell C.K. DeMello of Kane'ohe, and Lowen Kekoa Schenk, son of Karl Von Schenk of Kane'ohe and the late Vikki Keiko Araki, were married July 22 at a private ceremony. A wedding celebration was held Dec. 26 at Kualoa Ranch. A reception followed at Treetops Restaurant. The bride (2000 Castle High/2004 Chaminade University bachelor's), is now Jane-na Kaina'aluha Schenk. The groom (1999 Castle High) is in the Army National Guard and deployed to Iraq. The couple's home is in Kane'ohe.
