Advertiser Staff

Honolulu-based Commercial Data Systems Inc. today said it will provide a multi-level network security system for the United State Central Command, which is the headquarters for military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.

CDS would not disclose the value of pilot project , but said it received $2.4 million last year under a similar deal with the Joint Intelligence Center Pacific. Multi-level security systems provide remote computers access to only certain data, rather than blanket access to all information stored on a server.

CDS, a computer consultant and systems integrator, employs about 60 people in Honolulu, an office in Albuquerque, N.M., and elsewhere.
