Kamehameha (O'ahu) won its first state high school boys soccer title with a 3-0 victory over Iolani Saturday on the Kamehameha-Maui campus. Scored 22 points in a 59-48 victory over Pearl City in the OIA quarterfinals.

Scored a team-high 22 points in a 52-36 victory over Saint Louis.

KYLE PAPE

Iolani

Scored 10 of his 12 points in the final five minutes of the Raiders' 44-43 victory over Punahou, including the game-winning basket with seven seconds remaining.

ERNIE VIDINHA

Pearl City

Scored a game-high 23 points in the Chargers' 59-48 loss to Kalaheo in the OIA quarterfinals.

Honoka'a

Scored two goals and had one assist to help the Dragons defeat Pearl City, 3-2, in the first round of the state tournament.

JAKE FASSETT

Honoka'a

Scored two goals in a 2-0 victory over Pearl City in the first round of the state tournament, then scored one goal in a 2-0 win over Mililani for fifth place.

LOGAN SAUER

Kamehameha

Scored one goal and had one assist in a 3-1 win over Waimea in the state semifinals, then scored two goals in the 3-0 victory over Iolani for the Warriors' first state title.

CHAD THOMPSON

Waimea

Scored two goals in a 3-2 victory over No. 1 seed Mililani in the state quarterfinals, then scored one goal in a 3-1 loss to Kamehameha in the semifinals.

Pitched a five-hitter and hit a two-run home run in a 9-1 victory over Kaimuki in the state quarterfinals.

Went 3 for 3 with two runs scored in a 7-2 victory over Kaimuki in the state tournament consolation bracket.

Mililani

Allowed three hits in seven innings and went 2 for 4 with a run batted in to help the Trojans defeat Waiakea, 5-0, in the state quarterfinals.

GENESIS FRUEAN

Pitched a two-hitter with five strikeouts and went 2 for 3 with a double, home run and three RBIs in a 4-0 victory over Kaua'i in the first round of the state tournament.

MARINA GUSMAN-BROWN

Pearl City

Went 3 for 3 with a double, two stolen bases and three runs scored and also pitched four scoreless innings in a first-round victory over Hilo in the state tournament.

SHYENNE HUSSEY

Kailua

Went 2 for 3 with a home run to help the Surfriders defeat No. 1 seed and previously unbeaten Punahou, 2-1, in the state quarterfinals.

COURTNEY KESSELL

Kailua

Pitched a one-hitter with nine strikeouts to help the Surfriders defeat Moanalua, 1-0, in the first round of the state tournament, then tossed a four-hitter with seven strikeouts in a 2-1 quarterfinal win over No. 1 seed and previously unbeaten Punahou.

DANA LEE

Mililani

Went 3 for 5 with a double and two RBIs in a 9-2 victory over Lahainaluna in the first round of the state tournament, then had a sacfrice fly and double to drive in both of the Trojans' runs in a 2-1 quarterfinal win over Kailua.

ANITA MANUMA

St. Francis

Went 4 for 4 with two runs batted in to help the Troubadours to a 7-2 victory over Konawaena in the Division II state semifinals.

CORRIE NISHIKIDA

Pearl City

Pitched a four-hitter with six strikeouts in a 4-3 victory over Baldwin in the state quarterfinals.

TINA NOGA

Waipahu

Pitched a three-hitter and struck out 12 and went 2 for 3 with a run batted in to help the Marauders defeat Kamehameha-Maui, 6-3, in the Division II state semifinals.

KRYSTAL PLUNKETT

Pearl City

Went 3 for 4 with a home run and two RBIs in an 8-3 loss to Kapolei in the state quarterfinals.

JASMIN YORO

Kapolei

Went 2 for 4 with four runs batted in in an 8-3 victory over Pearl City in the state quarterfinals.



SWIMMING

BRYAN AVERY

Mililani

Won the 100 butterfly in 54.57 seconds and the 200 individual medley in two minutes, 2.69 seconds in the OIA championship meet.

MEREDITH EGLORIA

Kapolei

Won the 100 freestyle in 1 minute, 56.30 seconds and the 200 free in 53.22 seconds at the OIA championship meet.

ANDREW LESTER

Moanalua

Won the 200 freestyle in 1 minute, 43.46 seconds and the 500 free in 4:39.72 at the OIA championships.

DENNIS SWART

Kaiser

Won the 50 freestyle in 22.68 seconds and the 100 free in 50.95 at the OIA championship meet.

MICHELLE VAWER

Iolani

Won the 500 freestyle in 5 minutes, 19.90 seconds and the 200 individual medley in 2:12.90 at the ILH championships.

APRIL WOO

Iolani

Won the 50 freestyle in 24.54 seconds, the 100 breaststroke in 1 minute, .32 seconds and was on the Raiders' winning 200 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay teams at the ILH championship meet.

MICHELLE YOSHIDA

Punahou

Won the 200 freestyle in 1 minute, 57.41 seconds and the 100 backstroke in 1:00.32 at the ILH championships.
