Place whole buds or just the petals between the pages of a heavy book; line the pages with wax paper to protect the book. Close the book and place something heavy on top. After two or three weeks, the flowers will be ready to be stored or used. Dried petals can be used as potpourri, or full blooms can be made into elegant arrangements.
Duane "Dog" Chapman | on his TV show, "Dog the Bounty Hunter": "I tell fathers, be as good a man as you can, because your kids will definitely follow in your footsteps."
Those words were spoken by Donald G. Stratton, the USS Arizona survivor, regarding the Pearl Harbor attacks on Dec. 7, 1941. Stratton lost 1,177 of his mates that day, surviving by pulling himself 60 feet, hand-over-hand, along a thick, hemp rope.
