What's open, closed Presidents Day

Here's what's open and closed Monday, Presidents Day.
- Government: Federal, state, city and county offices will be closed.
- Schools: Public schools will be closed. UH offices and classes are closed, and the Sinclair and Hamilton Libraries are closed.
- Libraries: Closed with exceptions; call your area library or visit www.librarieshawaii.org for a schedule.
- TheBus: Saturday schedule
- On-street parking: Free, except for metered Kalakaua Avenue spaces adjacent to Kapi'olani Park; holiday towaway parking as permitted by sign; municipal lot meters must be fed.
- Traffic: No coning
- Trash: Regular residential and business pickup. Landfills and convenience centers will be open.
- Open markets: Closed
- Municipal golf courses: Open
- City Recreation Centers: Open
- Mail: Post offices closed; no regular residential and business delivery; no collection (blue) box pickups
- Handi-Van: Operating. 454-5050 (reservations: 456-5555)
