Airline, union reach deal
Advertiser Staff
Hawaiian Airlines said yesterday it has reached a revised tentative agreement on a three-year contract with its 794 flight attendants.
The Association of Flight Attendants will put the new agreement to the membership for ratification soon, the airline said.
The flight attendants rejected a previous contract last week. The terms of the new agreement were not released by the airline.
If ratified, the association will become the fifth union of the airline's six to have reached new agreements with Hawaiian.
Hawaiian officials say the airline cannot emerge from bankruptcy protection without new contracts for all unions.
