Iolani top seed for boys state basketball

Three-time defending champion Iolani is the top seed for this week's Hawai'i High School Athletic Association/Hawaiian Airlines Boys State Basketball Championship Tournament.
The Raiders won the Interscholastic League of Honolulu title with a 14-0 record. They are 26-2 overall this season.
O'ahu Interscholastic Association champion Kahuku (13-1 OIA, 20-2 overall) is seeded second, Maui Interscholastic League champion Baldwin (12-0 MIL, 21-2 overall) is seeded third and Big Island Interscholastic Federation champion Konawaena (17-1 BIIF, 24-5 overall) is seeded fourth.
The top four seeds receive first-round byes in the tournament, which opens Wednesday. All games will be played at the Blaisdell Arena. Admission is $9 adults, and $5 ages 62-older and students K-12. There is a 50-cent surcharge per ticket and parking at Blaisdell is $5.
