The Honolulu Academy of Arts' ARTafterDARK monthlies for young-adult art lovers returns tonight with "NeoNite-Encounters at the Edge." A mash-up of German contemporary artwork and turntablism, NeoNite promises spinning by Love Parade collective founder DJ Dr. Motte (Berlin) and guided tours of the academy's ongoing Neo Rauch exhibition. Nosh on German food and beer, too.
It's happening from 6 to 9 p.m. Entry is free for academy members; $7 for nonmembers. For more information, call 532-6091.
Former World Wrestling Entertainment star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson | quoted in Entertainment Weekly, on playing a gay man in "Be Cool," hitting theaters March 4.
