Fund created for fall victim
Advertiser Staff
A fund has been established to assist with the medical treatment of a 2-year-old girl who fell from a four-story apartment building in Nu'uanu.
Ashli Alcala-Romero, who fell on Sunday, suffered internal injuries and head trauma. She was taken to The Queen's Medical Center, where she remains in stable condition.
Donations can be made to "Friends of Ashli" at any Bank of Hawaii branch statewide.
In a written statement released yesterday by The Copulos Law Firm, the girl's parents, Robyn Romero and John Alcala, thanked the doctors and nurses at Queen's and the many people in the community who had sent their prayers and well-wishes.
