Cheri K. Kekua, daughter of Fabian and Pearl Kalili of Honolulu, and Jason E.M. Comparan, son of Edward and Nancy Comparan of Tucson, Ariz., were married Aug. 27 in Tucson. The bride (Kamehameha Schools), formerly of Kahalu'u, is now Cheri K. Comparan. The groom (Palo Verde High, Tucson) is a hospital corpsman with the Navy. The couple live in Kane'ohe.

Shawna Ling, daughter of Gerald W.O. Ling and Eileen E. Ling of Kailua, and Jonathan Kin Hong Yee, son of Mr. Michael K.H. Yee of Honolulu and Madeline F. Yee of Honolulu, were married Sept. 19 at Central Union Church in Honolulu. The reception followed at the Kahala Mandarin Oriental. The bride (Punahou School/Claremont McKenna College bachelor's/University of Southern California doctoral), formerly of Kailua, now Shawna Yee, is a physical therapist. The groom (Punahou School/Pitzer College, Claremont, Calif., bachelor's/Drucker School of Management, Claremont, Calif., master's), formerly of Honolulu, is a computer programmer. The couple live in Altadena, Calif.
