The University of Hawai'i football team today secured a verbal commitment from Daniel Johnson, an all-state offensive tackle from Skyline High School in Washington.
Johnson said he made his decision after consulting with his parents last night.
Johnson has canceled this week's recruiting visit to Idaho, and said he will end the recruiting process with Washington.
Johnson, who is 6 feet 4 and 270 pounds, can bench press 330 pounds three times and run 40 yards in 5.06.
