STAGE/SCREEN

Manoa Valley Theatre auditions for the March 9-April 24 production of the musical "Cabaret," 2 p.m. Jan. 15 and 16, Bakken Auditorium, Mid-Pacific Institute. Prepare a Broadway-style song (bring sheet music in your key) and come dressed to dance. Information: 988-6131.

MUSIC/DANCE

Hawai'i Youth Opera Chorus enrolling students in grades K-12 for the new semester, 8:30 a.m. Saturday and Jan. 15, Kawaiaha'o Church basement. Times vary depending on age. Participation fee is $200 plus required music camp attendance. Call for audition times and details: 521-2982.

Honolulu Symphony Chorus auditions on Monday for the spring concert season. Rehearsals, beginning Jan. 17, will be held each Monday in the UH-Manoa Music Department's choral rehearsal room.
