Four injured in Nimitz collision

Four people were injured, one critically, in a two-car collision last night on Nimitz Highway near Byron's Drive Inn.
The accident occurred at about 9:40 p.m. at the intersection of Nimitz and Paiea Street. One car broadsided a Jeep, ejecting two women passengers, according to Emergency Medical Services personnel.
A woman who was in the back seat of the Jeep was taken to the Queen's Medical Center in critical condition. The condition of the other passenger thrown from the Jeep was not available last night.
