• Verizon Hawaii agreed to pay customers a $20.70 credit on their bills if the company is sold to The Carlyle Group. A Business story posted yesterday said Carlyle would pay the credit.
• The airplane that is part of the set for the Discovery Kids series "29 Down" was previously owned by Hawaiian Air Tour Service. The name of the former owner was incorrect in a Local News story posted Wednesday.
• The U.S. Postal Service is selling souvenir sheets of 24 lunar new year stamps for $8.88. The sheet has a complete set of the 12 stamps designed by Clarence Lee, both front and back. The number of stamps being sold in the souvenir sheet was incorrect in a Local News story posted yesterday. Those who attended yesterday's celebration dedicating the complete set of lunar new year stamps received a special envelope with one of the 12 stamps and a standard cancellation. Envelopes with a stamp and a new digital color postmark sell for $1.50.
• Kofi Annan is secretary-general of the United Nations. His title was incorrect in a Local News story posted yesterday.
• Karen Motosue is the vice president of the Hawai'i Heritage Center. Her title was incorrect in a photo caption with a Local News story posted yesterday. Also, center president Walter Chang was not identified in the same photo caption.
• Carleton Ching is director of community and governmental relations for Castle & Cooke Homes. His name was misspelled and his title was incorrect in a Business story posted Wednesday.
