Kaua'i police are expected to charge a man today in the killing of 18-year-old Weslyn Jerves.

Richard Costa, 36, of Kalaheo, Kaua'i, will be charged with murder in the second degree.

The exact time of Costa's arraignment was not announced.

Police also said that Jerves, a young mother, died from stab wounds.

Jerves, of Hanamaulu, was found dead Thursday in a remote coastal area near Port Allen.
