Tour van hijacker sought

Police this morning were looking for a man who hijacked a tour van at a park across from the Kahe Point power generation plant.Police said a man approached the Dolphin Excursion tour van about 7 a.m. and drove off with a man and three girls still in the van. The van driver and several other tourists had already gotten out of the van, police said.
Within minutes, the man who took the van stopped to let the remaining passengers out and continued on to a park near Honokai Hale, where police found the abandoned van.
No one was injured in the incident, police said.
