Lane-closure lineup pretty full for week

The holidays are over, the kids are back in school, and traffic is getting back to normal, which is to say it seems like construction work is going on all over the island.
The state Department of Transportation says more than a dozen projects will require lane closures, blockages and detours this week. All of the road closures listed occur today through Friday unless otherwise noted.
Here's a look at what to look out for as you make your way around town this week.
H-1 Freeway
Two left lanes westbound and one lane eastbound will be closed from the Zipper Hale to Radford Drive from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Two lanes eastbound from Radford Drive to the Zipper Hale will be closed from 8 p.m. Friday to midnight Saturday.
The right 'ewa-bound lane from the Ka'onohi Street overpass to the Pearl City off-ramp will be closed from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. through Thursday and from 10 p.m. Friday to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
The right westbound lane will be closed between Kapi'olani and King Street from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Lane closures are planned in both directions between the Middle Street tunnel and the Pearl Harbor Interchange from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Likelike Highway
One lane will be closed in both directions between Emmeline Place and the Wilson Tunnel from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The entire highway will be closed in the Kane'ohe-bound direction between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.
One Honolulu-bound lane will be closed near the Wilson Tunnel from 8 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Nimitz Highway
One lane will be closed in both directions between Sumner and Queen streets from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Up to two lanes will be closed in the town-bound direction from Walker Park to the Nu'uanu Stream Bridge from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Kamehameha Highway
One lane will be closed in either direction and traffic contraflowed between Waiahole Valley Road and Ka'a'awa Place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Intermittent single-lane closures are planned in both directions between Halawa Drive and Kalaloa Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to allow drilling work to construct a temporary bridge.
Farrington Highway
One lane will be closed in the 'ewa-bound direction from Pupupuhi Street to Leoku Street, and one lane will be closed in the Honolulu direction from Awanui Street to Paiwa Street, both from from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The right lane will be closed in the Wai'anae-bound direction between Nanakuli Avenue and Haleakala Avenue near Nanakuli from 7:30 a.m. 2 p.m. A contraflow lane will be opened from 7:30 a.m to 3 p.m. on Thursday and Friday in the area.
The right lanes in both directions between Ma'ili Point and Hakimo Road near Ma'ili will be closed from 8:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m. to prepare for installation of a median barrier in the area.
Moanalua Freeway
Two right lanes will be closed in the westbound direction from the Kalihi Street overpass to the airport off-ramp from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. The Likelike on-ramp to the H-1 Freeway westbound, the Middle Street off-ramp westbound and the airport off-ramp westbound also will be closed during the same period.
Fort Weaver Road
The left lane will be closed in the northbound direction south of Laulanui Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
King Street
The left eastbound lane will be closed between the H-1 off-ramp and Kapi'olani Boulevard from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fort Barrette Road
Lane closures will occur from 8:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m. through Friday between Kapolei Parkway and the H-1 Freeway.
Ala Moana Boulevard
Intermittent lane closures in both directions are expected between Pi'ikoi Street and Atkinson Drive between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday.
