Advertiser Staff and News Services
"Cocktail" reruns on TNT getting a bit old for you, too? See the real thing when Wave Waikiki hosts a semifinal competition in its third annual Ultimate Bartending Competition.
In addition to a "flair" bartending contest, competition includes a cocktail-server obstacle course and search for the sexiest bartender in town. Judges, we were assured, are "industry insiders" employed bartenders and servers islandwide were invited to enter. Winners get $100 and a slot in next Wednesday's final competition for a $500 prize. Contests start at 10 tonight, age 21 and over only. For more information call 941-0424, ext. 12.
Wie is the winner; she figures in127 items for sale, the topper being a $174 autographed (with Ernie Els) Sony Open flag from last year's Sony Open.
Trias had three items listed; a $7.99 calendar-poster, of Philippines vintage, was the top item.

Wie a big hit on eBay
EBay, the online shopping destination, often is a barometer of who's hot and what's hip. So a mid-week check on golfer Michelle Wie, 15, and "American Idol" finalist Jasmine Trias, 18, might reflect the popularity of these two Island teens.
