The University of Hawai'i men's volleyball team ascended two places, to No. 4, in this week's USA Today/CSTV top-14 poll.
The Warriors played an alumni team last week.
"I guess (the voters) think that was a very good alumni team," UH coach Mike Wilton said.
The rankings were scrambled after California Baptist, an NAIA school, upset top-ranked and defending national champion Brigham Young last week.
UCLA is No. 1 this week, followed by BYU and Pepperdine.
The Warriors' opponent tonight, Cal State Northridge, is No. 6.
Eleven of the 12 teams from the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation, of which UH is a member, are ranked in this week's poll. UC San Diego is the exception.
