Kaka'ako robbery reportedPolice arrested two men and were looking for a third following a robbery early this morning in Kaka'ako.
Witnesses said they saw the three men approach another man about 12:10 a.m. near Keawe and Coral streets and demand money.
The victim refused and was punched in the face twice before one of the assailants took a wallet from the victim's pocket, the witnesses said.
Police were called and found two of the suspects, ages 20 and 22, nearby. They were identified by the witnesses and arrested for suspicion of second-degree robbery.
Waipahu man accused in assault
Police have arrested a 27-year-old Waipahu man in connection with a series of sexual assaults reported by a 16-year-old Waipahu girl.
The girl said she was assaulted by the man, who is a family acquaintance, between Oct. 31 and Jan. 1.
The man was arrested yesterday for suspicion of four counts of first-degree sexual assault and four counts of third-degree sexual assault.
Alleged car burglar arrested
A 26-year-old man was arrested about 4:40 p.m. in Waikiki yesterday after a hotel security guard saw the man searching through a car on the second floor of the hotel's parking garage.
The man was detained at the garage, police were called, and he was arrested on suspicion of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and outstanding warrants for contempt of court.
Youth detained in burglary
A 15-year-old girl was arrested yesterday after a 25-year-old Mo'ili'ili woman arrived at her Bingham Street home and found the girl climbing out of a window.
The homeowner called police as the girl ran away. Officers caught up with the girl on Dole Street and arrested her for suspicion of first-degree burglary.
