Make a home to-do list
Advertiser Staff
Examine your home room by room and jot down everything that needs to be done, such as fixing a leaky faucet, clearing out a closet or sweeping the garage floor.
"When you're done, you'll have a to-do list that will make your home the kind of place you want it to be," Davidson said.
Volunteer with your kids
• Volunteer to care for abandoned dogs or cats.
• Visit a nursing home.
• Pick up litter at a park.
• Deliver meals to homebound people.
• Read books to children in a hospital.
Final word
"I still eat fried chicken, and rice and beans, but the burst of flavor in your mouth from organic fruit and vegetables is incredible you forget that anything can be that good."
