Girl accuses man of assault

An 18-year-old Nanakuli man was arrested yesterday in connection with a report by a 12-year-old girl who said she was sexually assaulted by a family member two months ago.

Police arrested the man for suspicion of first-degree sexual assault.



Shopping spree ends in arrest

A 17-year-old girl was arrested yesterday for allegedly going on a shopping spree Oct. 5 at the Kunia Wal-Mart store while using a debit card belonging to a 35-year-old woman.

Police said pictures of the girl were recorded on the store's surveillance system.

She was arrested for suspicion of fraudulent use of a credit card.



Boy accused of threatening teacher

A 12-year-old Niu Valley boy was arrested after he allegedly threatened his his teacher about 9:40 a.m. yesterday.

Police said the teacher, 43, told authorities the boy said he "wished he had his Glock" and then formed his hand to indicate he was talking about a gun.

The boy was arrested for suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening and was later released without charges pending further investigation.
