Hurricanes prevail, 48-44, improve to 7-1 on season

Jefferson Gaygay scored 13 points, including three 3-pointers, to lead visiting Kapolei over Mililani, 48-44, last night in an O'ahu Interscholastic Association Western Division game.
Po'okela Ahmad added 12 points for the Hurricanes, who retained sole possession of first place in the division with a 7-1 record.
Radford and Campbell, who both won last night, are a half-game back with 6-1 records.
