Moving Prayers series continues

The next series of Moving Prayers started this week at the Mystical Rose Oratorio at Chaminade University.
Moving Prayers is a group that shares prayer through movement and gesture. The Wednesday sessions are held 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The sessions continue every week until April 13. On March 16, there will be a special Taize prayer around the cross.

The Interfaith Open Table Hawai'i will hold its monthly meeting at 7 a.m. Wednesday at the UCC Conference Center Board Room, 15 Craigside Place. The topic for discussion will be "Witnessing to Our Homeless & Houseless," and includes presentations by the Waikiki Beach Outreach Feeding Ministry, Hawaii Helping the Hungry Have Hope and Aliman Sears, a project director of Steadfast.
There also will be discussion on a measure that criminalizes homelessness with an ACLU representative.
