Achieving good health doesn't have to be a costly, complicated endeavor. Dr. Andrew Weil, editor of the publication Self Healing, offers a few ideas:
• Wash your hands often. Using soap and water is the most important thing you can do to ward off colds, flu and other infectious illnesses. • Manage your appetite. Be conscious of portion sizes, and learn to eat when you're truly hungry. • Take a daily walk. Walking outdoors is a great way to work off extra calories and get bone-building vitamin D from sunlight. Light is nature's mood booster.
