Kona-to-Maui flights added

Starting today, Island Air will offer new daily flights between Kona and west Maui to meet the increased summer demand.

The interisland carrier said it will offer a new Kona-to-Kapalua flight and a new Kona-to-Kahului flight with one way fares starting at $89.10. The new flights end on Sept. 5.

Island Air said it now has seven daily flights between Maui and Kona.
