FRED RAMOS AUGUSTINE, 78, of Honolulu, died June 25, 2005. Born in Binalonan, Pangasinan, Philippines. A retired Kaiser Foundation Hospital and St. Francis Medical Center emergency room technician. Survived by wife, Domy; sons, Roland Agustin and Mario Augustine; daughters, Clem Patricio and Rhona Augustine Zane; sister, Angelina Aqui; nine grandchildren. MELANIO BARCENA "INYONG" CASPILLO SR., 82, of Kunia, died June 18, 2005. Born in Sucoc, Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. Survived by wife, Julita; sons, Melanio Jr. and Dwayne; daughters, Millie Ellis, Carolyn Hayashi, Lillian Tsubota, Annette Sombatphibane, Angela Garcia, Andrea, Jovelyn "Jiji" and Marilyn Caspillo; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. LEATRICE KAM FUNG ING, 95, of Honolulu, died June 16, 2005. A retired school teacher. KAROLE MITSUE UCHIHARA KANESHIRO, 79, of Honolulu, died June 24, 2005. Born in Makawao, Maui. Retired city Housing Department fiscal officer; state House of Representatives sergeant-at-arms staff member. MANABU "UNCLE MABU" KUNITAKE, 83, of Holualoa, Hawai'i, died June 29, 2005. Born in Holualoa. A gardener retired from Islander Inn; also utility worker at the former Kona Surf Hotel, and coffee farmer. Survived by wife, Myrtle; daughters, Cynthia Yamamoto and Laura Kunitake; a grandchild; sister, Amy Tari; hanai brother, George. JOANNA LEILANI LUM, 70, of Kane'ohe, died June 17, 2005. Born in Honolulu. A retired secretary for the Chamber of Commerce for 37 years. Survived by husband, Alfred "Sonny"; daughters, Sheryl Ann Kaonohi, Denise Macomber, Rozlyn Mansinon and Allyson Enos; stepdaughters, Alferdina "Dina" Leomiti and Joyanna Ringor; mother, Agnes Ho; brothers, Joseph Ho Jr. and Michael Ho; sister, Deborah Thornley; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. A retired U.S. Air Force pilot, founding president of Integrated Financial Planning Inc., commodore of the International Fellowship for Yachting Rotarians, charter president of the Honolulu Sunset Rotary and the local chapter of the Bridge Rotarians.
