• A pairing of Big Island job seekers and prospective employers will be offered at the Science and Technology Job Fair and conference Saturday. The event, co-sponsored by the Hawai'i Island Economic Development Board, will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Hawai'i Community College cafeteria. On hand will be representatives from HELCO, Hawaiian Telecom, Oceanic Cable, Hawai'i Volcanos National Park, Mauna Kea Astronomy Educational Center, Hawai'i Leeward Planning and others. TOMORROW

• Patent-pending technology that would allow messages from multiple voice-mail accounts — office, cellular, residential, even answering machines — to be funneled into a single voice-mail box or e-mail account will be the topic of a discussion tomorrow at the University of Phoenix. Speaking on "Large-Scale Voice Over IP," will be Martin Dunsmuir. • The Building Industry Association of Hawaii will present the Remodel It Right Expo Friday through Sunday at the Hawai'i Convention Center. The exhibition will showcase 150 booths displaying Hawai'i's top contractors, suppliers, building industry experts and associates. Also offered will be "Meet the Experts" roundtable interactive discussions with remodeling experts and three free "Remodel It Right" panel discussions.
