FESTIVAL


A SUDSY CELEBRATION

Cheer on American Beer Month at this month's Hops and Grinds, which celebrates with samplings of red, white and blue brews. Enjoy a variety of American craft beers. The festivities include a pupu buffet, prize drawings and entertainment.

TAU'S HAUS TO HELP TROUPE

It's disco fever at Tau's Haus, a Studio 54-type shindig presented by Tau Dance Theater. This annual fundraiser benefits the dance troupe's upcoming 10th anniversary season. Disco-themed attire is encouraged, with performances from Tau's Haus Dancers and other guests. The evening wraps with a fashion show featuring ensembles from Betsey Johnson NYC.

CONCERT


CHUCK MANGIONE AT TURTLE BAY

Take advantage of our clear summer nights at the 4th annual Guitars Under the Stars jazz festival. This year's headliner is Grammy winner and international recording artist Chuck Mangione, with openers Michael Ruff and Friends, including David Choy, Robert Shinoda, Dean Taba and Garin Poliahu. Refreshments include "Red, Whites and Brews" wine and beers and food from 21 Degrees and Gordon Biersch. Other attractions include telescopes for stargazing and a fireworks finale. Gates open at 5 p.m., with the concert to follow at 6:15 p.m. and fireworks close the night at 9:20 p.m.
