"The Unrecovered," a feature-length, fictional narrative film about the psychological aftermath of 9/11, will be screened Wednesday at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa. It examines the effect of terror on the human mind, and how irony, empathy and paranoia interacted after the terrorist attacks.

The film was written and directed by Roger Copeland, a professor of theater and dance at Oberlin College, Ohio; he will give a preview of the film and afterward answer questions from the audience. The presentation is part of UH's Shunzo Sakamaki Extraordinary Lecture Series.

Screening time is 7 p.m. in Krauss Hall's Yukiyoshi Room. Admission is free. Call 956-8246 for more information.
