50th state wrestling on display
Wrestling has had a storied past in the Islands and this year's Hawai'i All-Collectors Show, set for July 23-24 at the Blaisdell Center Exhibition Hall, will have a display on the golden age of pro wrestling in Hawai'i. Longtime fan Wayne Nishimoto of Hawai'i Nostalgia, the presenter of the show, will exhibit his photographs, lineups and Tosh Togo memorabilia as well as have prints and T-shirts from wrestling lineups of the 1960s and '70s. He is looking for more stories and material on the likes of the Masked Executioner, "Handsome" Johnny Barend, Shoulders Newman and Chief Billy White Wolf. To share tales or material from the era of 50th State Big Time Wrestling: 488-3987 or wayne@ukulele.com.

FINAL WORD
"Between my girls, their friends, my wife, her friends, our nannies, their friends and the cook, every day there were 13 women in my house in the old days. And one guy: me. In 18 years I didn't win one argument."
