Police yesterday were searching for three men who allegedly kidnapped an 18-year-old woman after she got off a bus in 'Aiea last week, raped her and held her for more than 24 hours.

The woman told police she was abducted at 5:45 p.m. Thursday and released by the men at 11 p.m. Friday.

The woman reported that after she got off a city bus in front of the Pearl Kai Shopping Center Thursday afternoon, a man she did not know came up behind her and forced her into a waiting red car, police said yesterday.

Two other men were in the car, she told police. Police believe the men are local residents in their 20s.

They drove to Waikiki, where the three men sexually assaulted her, police said. Police did not say specifically where the assaults happened.

The men held the woman until 11 p.m. Friday night before letting her go, police said. It was not known where she was released.

The woman reported the incident to police on Saturday.

Detectives were working with the woman to come up with sketches of the men. No suspects have been named, police said. The woman told police she had never seen the men before.

The men are each wanted for investigation of first-, second- and third-degree sex assault and kidnapping.
