Cyanotech hires investor relations firm

Kona-based Cyanotech Corp., a world leader in producing high-value natural products from microalgae, has appointed Russell Communications Group to coordinate its investor relations, marketing and communications efforts.As the company's investor relations counsel, RCG will assist Cyanotech in communicating with shareholders and prospective investors. RCG will also coordinate Cyanotech's marketing communications efforts, highlighting the company's focus on the business-to-business wholesale market for its ingredients.
Island Air hires firm to help manage aircraft maintenance
Island Air has selected Avexus Inc. to help the carrier manage its aircraft maintenance operations.
Avexus is expected to help Island Air "boost operational efficiencies and reliability while optimizing material and personnel requirements," the airline said in a news release.
Island Air offers 88 daily flights between Honolulu, Lanai, Kapalua, Kahalui, Kona, Hilo and Lihue on a fleet of DASH-8/Q400 aircraft.
