Is the pirate's life for you? Find out at Pirate Day, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at the Hawai'i Maritime Center. That's where you'll be treated to a treasure hunt, pirate paper-hat making, a pirate tattoo booth and more.

It's inspired by Hawaii Opera Theatre's "Pirates of Penzance," July 22-24 and 29-31 at Blaisdell Concert Hall. Pirate Day activities include a magic show, swashbuckling pirates and selections from the HOT production.

Admission is $3 general or $10 for a family of four. The maritime museum is at Pier 7, just diamondhead of Aloha Tower Marketplace. 596-7372, hawaiiopera.org.
