Army Community Theatre still has male parts available for the Sept. 8-24 production of the musical "Guys and Dolls." Auditions for men, ages 20-60, who can sing and move, will be held 2-5 p.m. July 23 at Richardson Theatre. Call 956-2110 for additional information.

"The First Battle," a film by Tom Coffman about an interracial group that worked to unite the Island community during World War II, seeks unpaid volunteer extras for filming, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Church of the Crossroad's meeting hall. "Local Bruisers," a feature film directed by Grant Tanaka, issues an open casting call for all body types and ethnicities: three females, ages 18-25; four males, ages 20-27; three girls, ages 7-10; and four boys, ages 7-10.
