Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of attorney David C. Schutter at his commemoration and remembrance 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at historic Kawaiaha'o Church, 957 Punchbowl St.

The program will begin at 6 p.m. followed by refreshments in the adjoining Likeke Hall.

Schutter, one of Hawai'i's best-known lawyers, died July 10 at his Kailua home following a massive stroke last month. He was 64.
