Service for Guard soldier killed in Iraq Sgt. DEYSON KEN CARIAGA, 20, of Honolulu, the first Hawai'i National Guard soldier killed in Iraq, died July 8, 2005. Born in Honolulu. Honolulu Community College student, serving with the 229th Military Intelligence Company, 29th Brigade Combat Team. Survived by mother and stepfather, Theresa and Jerry Inouye; brother, Lance; grandparents, Roland and Haruko Akatsuka, and Margaret Boydston; father, Rodney Cariaga. Visitation 5 p.m. Thursday at Mission Memorial Auditorium (560 S. King St., diamondhead of Honolulu Hale); service 6 p.m. (A closed-circuit feed will transmit the service to those outside.) Parking available after 5 p.m. at Honolulu Municipal parking lot; and after 6 p.m. at 'Iolani Palace. No flowers.
