Hale'iwa arts fest, plus 'Sunset' at Ali'i

If you're looking for Sunset on the Beach events, you'll have to head for the North Shore this weekend. That's where you'll find food booths, entertainment, an open market, country fair and movies ("Shark Tale" and a short titled "Surfer Girl 2 — Bethany Hamilton, the Comeback Kid" today; "National Treasure" and the short "Kamea" tomorrow) at about 7 p.m.

Hours are from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and tomorrow at Ali'i Beach Park. Admission is free. www .gonorthshore.org.

And while you're in Hale'iwa, take in the 8th annual Hale'iwa Arts Festival, full of fine arts, entertainment and keiki activities. It's from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow at Hale'iwa Beach Park. Admission is free. www.haleiwaartsfestival.org.
