BETSY MISAYO FURUTA, 74, of Honolulu, died July 17, 2005. Born in Honolulu. A retired state Department of Taxation personnel technician. Survived by sons, Roger and Randy; daughters, Raynette Longo and Kay; seven grandchildren; brothers, Daniel, Thomas and Walter Harimoto; sisters, Esther Ishikawa and June Takasaki. Visitation 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 10:30 a.m. No flowers. Casual attire.

EDMUND F. "TED" GREGG, 53, of San Diego, Calif., formerly of Hono-lulu, died June 20, 2005. A restaurateur who worked many years at the Rose & Crown Pub in King's Alley. Survived by daughters, Nicole and Kirsten; second wife, Gail; two granddaughters; sister, Kathleen; father, Ted Jr.

ALEMA MARION LINDLEY, 22, of La'ie, died July 16, 2005. Born in Honolulu. A convenience store cashier. Survived by parents, Dennis and Gladys; brother, Danny; grandmother, Vera Purcell. Visitation 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; La'ie 4th Ward Chapel; service 11 a.m.; burial 12:30 p.m. at La'ie Cemetery. BILLYJO HULIKOA NEVES-HALEAMAU, five-month old son of Solly and Ashley Neves-Haleamau, of Kalaoa, Kona, Hawai'i, died July 15, 2005. Born in Waimea, Hawai'i. Survived also by sisters, Heavenly-Grace and twin, Solynna Haleamau; grandparents, Solomon and Patsy Haleamau, Bill and Nani Neves; great-grandparents, Antone and Maxine Cazimero Jr. Visitation 9 to 10 a.m. next Saturday at Mauna Ziona Congregational Church; service 10 a.m.; lunch and fellowship to follow. NANISE POLA SIUA, 67, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died July 11, 2005. Born in Tonga. A homemaker. Survived by sons, Mounga, Kefu, Peni, Toni, Neo, Mikylie, Soeli and Elima; daughter, Tonga; sisters, Malia Lopeti and Makalita Letisi; brothers and sisters in Tonga; grandchildren. HELEN HIDEKO TANAKA, 79, of 'Aiea, died July 10, 2005. Born in Waipahu. Retired from J.C. Penney as a main cashier. Survived by daughter, Harelda Tanaka-Oakes; sister, Sadako Yokono; niece, Stella Shiroma. Visitation 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; service 6:30 p.m. Casual attire.

EDWARD TAVARES, 82, of Makawao, Maui, died July 20, 2005. Born in Pa'ia, Maui. A retired heavy equipment operator for Ameron. Survived by daughters, Linda Tagud, Darlene, Doris Kenui and Sherry; mother, Clara; brothers, Richard, Henry and John; sisters, Alice Carvalho and Irene; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. STEVEN VANDERVORT, 45, of Koloa, Kaua'i, died July 20, 2005. Born in Delaware. A cook. TED VIRTUDES, 91, of Mililani, died July 19, 2005. Born in Bohol, Philippines. A retired employee of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Shop 72. Survived by brothers, Pedro and Clement; four nephews and two nieces. Private service. Arrangements by Mililani Mortuary.
