'Dog' snags ex-employee

spacer

It caused a buzz when a former employee of Honolulu-based bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman went on the lam from the law herself, and a $100,000 warrant for her arrest was issued by a state judge. Have no fear: The no-show woman was captured by Dog's team (surprise!), and the bag was filmed in an episode that shows at 6 tonight on A&E.

'CHOCOLATE' HAS SWEETEST NUMBERS

Johnny Depp's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" remained the top ticket-seller with $28.3 million in receipts, according to studio estimates Sunday. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn's "Wedding Crashers" stayed at No. 2 with $26.2 million.

The two movies held off other contenders. "The Island," starring Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson, took in $12.1 million to finish fourth — just behind "Fantastic Four," which grossed $12.3 million. "Bad New Bears," featuring Billy Bob Thornton, came in fifth with $11.5 million.

The acclaimed independent film "Hustle & Flow," starring Terrence Howard, debuted at No. 7 with $8.1 million. Rob Zombie's horror tale "The Devil's Rejects" opened at No. 8 with $7 million.

FINAL WORD

"What Walgreens is for Jessica, Lowe's is for me: I can look around for hours. I go in and get things that I don't even know how to use, but they look cool."
