Police arrested two men last night in connection with a sexual assault complaint filed this week by a 24-year-old woman who said she was sexually assaulted over a five-day period.

The woman said she went to a home on Wai'alae Avenue in Kaimuki on July 20, where she was sexually assaulted repeatedly throughout the evening by a man in his 20s.

The woman said that three days later, the man who assaulted her picked her up and was accompanied by a second man, also in his 20s, and that both men sexually assaulted her while driving around the island.

Police obtained a search warrant and went to a home in the 3300 block of Wai'alae Avenue yesterday, where they arrested a 21 year-old resident of the home and a 20-year-old Manoa man for suspicion for second-degree sexual assault.

The two suspects had not been charged as of this morning.

Man turns himself in after assaulting wife

A 28-year-old Kapolei man was arrested yesterday after he allegedly pointed a gun at his 44-year-old wife during an argument and threatened to shoot her.

The wife told police that after making the threat, the husband assaulted her and went to work.

He later turned himself in at the Kane'ohe police station, where he was arrested for suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening, abuse of a family member and two firearms offenses.
