The classic silent film "The General," starring comic legend Buster Keaton, will be screened tonight at Five Dollar Movie Night at The ARTS at Marks Garage downtown.

"The General" is a Civil War adventure about a Confederate train engineer (Keaton), his beloved train (The General) and the woman he loves.

The film screens at 7 p.m. Admission is — you guessed it — $5. Reservations are suggested, as this is a fairly small venue. 561-1651, www.origmedia.com.
