Paul Snieder went 2 for 4 and Matthew Suiter scored three times as Hawai'i beat West Torrance, Calif., 11-1, at the Babe Ruth (13-15 years old) Pacific Southwest Regional at Taylorsville, Utah.

Snieder earned the win on the mound, holding the Southern California team to four hits in the five-inning game.

Joshua Bninski had a double for Hawai'i and drove in two runs. Reece Kiriu, Jeeter Ishida and Tyler Young also had two RBIs each.

Hawai'i will play Central California today.

MILILANI PONY RALLIES

Ryan Muraoka singled home Keanu Carmichael to break a 4-all tie in the top of the seventh and cap a two-run rally as Mililani defeated Tamiami, Fla., 6-5, yesterday at the P.O.N.Y. League Pony-13 (13-year-olds) World Series at Chino Hills, Calif.

Mililani improved to 2-0 in its four-team pool. A victory today over Upland, Calif., would vault Hawai'i into tomorrow's championship game against the winner of the other four-team pool.

Carmichael pitched two scoreless innings in relief to earn the victory.
