Man charged in sex assault on girl

A 21-year-old man has been charged with the Aug. 21, 2004, sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl in Waikiki.
Jeffrey Farrish was charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault and a probation revocation warrant. His bail was set at $45,000.
On Aug. 21, the girl met a man and his friends in Waikiki, police said. The group went back to the girl's house, where she fell asleep and awoke to find a man assaulting her, police said.
The man, identified by police as Farrish, fled after allegedly stealing a computer, cell phone, Sony PlayStation and DVDs.
Police were able to track down Farrish in San Francisco, where he was arrested.
He was extradited to Hawai'i on May 27 and charged the next day.
Infant's injuries investigated
Police have opened a first-degree assault case after a 2-month-old boy was brought to a Honolulu hospital with head injuries.
Police said the boy was having difficulty breathing when he was admitted to the Kapi'olani Medical Center on Sunday afternoon. Doctors determined that the boy suffered internal head injuries, police said.
The cause of the injuries was not known and the boy remained in the hospital's intensive care unit yesterday. No arrests had been made as of yesterday.
Landlord arrested in sex-assault case
A 56-year-old St. Louis Heights man was arrested Monday after a 21-year-old woman told police her landlord sexually assaulted her late Friday night or early Saturday morning.
The woman identified the alleged assailant to officers.
2 men arrested in alleged burglary
Two men, ages 22 and 32, were arrested Monday morning after an anonymous caller reported a burglary under way in 'Ewa Beach.
Patrol officers stopped a car carrying two men and tools matching the description of those taken from the home.
