JUAN "UNCLE JOHNNY" BAJET BALETE, 93, of Honolulu, died May 19, 2005. Born in Santa Ilocos Sur, Philippines. A retired stevedore for McCabe, Hamilton & Renny Shipping Co. Survived by wife, Malologa Puleisili; sons, John and Benjamin; daughters, Va'ai Calles, Marian, Kathy, Janet Tolentino, Bernice and Pepatuepe Ino; hanai son, Anthony Negrillo; 13 grandchildren. ROMAN CACHO CACHOLA, 93, of Kahului, Maui, died May 21, 2005. Born in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. A field worker with HC&S. Survived by wife, Estrelita; sons, Castor, Felimon and Ray; daughters, Agrifina Andaya, Janet and Brenda; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. SANTOS CARVALHO SR., 89, of Hilo, Hawai'i, died May 27, 2005. Born in Kohala, Hawai'i. A supervisor in the Hawai'i County Department of Water Works. MICHAEL PETER FOSTER, 56, of Kailua, Kona, Hawai'i, died May 24, 2005. Born in Minnesota. A painter, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survived by son, Aaron; brothers, Steve, Paul and David; sisters, Judy, and Celeste Heald; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. No service. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

EDWARD A. LESKO, 77, died May 28, 2005. Born in Michigan. Retired Army colonel and Army chaplain who revived the "Beach Mass" at Fort DeRussy in Waikiki. Survived by wife, Jeannette; stepdaughter, Roseann Michaud; two grandchildren; brother, Gerald; sisters, Rosemarie Zullo, Geraldine Kulinski and Loretta Redlowsk; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation 9 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church; Mass 11 a.m.; burial with military honors to follow at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. TAKAO OKAMITSU, 85, of Lana'i City, Lana'i, died May 20, 2005. Born in Lahaina, Maui.
