Y. Hata awarded military contract

Y. Hata & Co. Ltd. of Honolulu yesterday was awarded a maximum $12.6 million contract for full line food distribution for the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies. The contract expires in February 2007. Y. Hata & Co. is a grocery supplier to hotels, restaurants, schools, prisons, entertainment venues and military food service operations.
Servco Pacific Inc. has acquired Raynor Pacific Overhead Doors, the state's leading distributor and installer of overhead garage doors.
Servco Pacific is one of Hawai'i's top 20 corporations with operations in auto sales and service, consumer goods, insurance, real estate and private equity investments.
"Raynor Pacific and Servco are an excellent business fit, given that our appliance distribution division serves many of the same customers (as Raynor Pacific)," said Mark Fukunaga, chairman of the board and chief executive officer of Servco.
