Woman charged after drugs seized

HILO, Hawai'i A 50-year-old Big Island woman was charged with drug trafficking after police reported seizing more than three ounces of methamphetamine from her pickup truck in Na'alehu.
West Hawaii Ice Task Force and Vice Section officers on Thursday searched a truck belonging to Susan Watson, and also seized $1,570, drug paraphernalia, marijuana residue and .22-caliber ammunition from the vehicle, police said.
Watson, of no permanent address, was charged with one count of methamphetamine trafficking, two counts of promoting dangerous drugs, two counts of illegal possession of drug paraphernalia, one count of promoting detrimental drugs and a firearms violation.
A missing man whom police asked the public to help find turned up about 1 a.m. yesterday near Halona Blowhole in East O'ahu.
Christopher K. Lee , 22, was immediately taken to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries, police said.
