• The "inside story" on what happened at this year's Legislature is on tap at the Building Owners and Managers Association "LEGISLATIVE REPORT 2005." The annual update will feature a legislative panel of state Reps. Kirk Caldwell, Galen Fox and Brian Schatz, and Sen. Donna Mercado Kim. A series of free community fairs for the prospective home buyer is planned this month and next in Waipahu, Honolulu and Kane'ohe. The "HELP FOR HOMEBUYERS" educational fairs are presented by the Hawaii HomeOwnership Center, in partnership with several community housing organizations. Lenders and Realtors will be present. The fairs are scheduled 9 a.m.-noon Saturday at the Filipino Community Center, 94-428 Mokuola St., Waipahu; 9 a.m.-noon June 25, Farrington High School; and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 9, Windward Mall Center Stage, Kane'ohe.
